TR-098 provides the Internet Gateway Device data model for the CPE WAN Management Protocol (CWMP) commonly referred to as TR-069. TR-098 data model describes the Gateway device itself and specifies the different data models used with the generic methods provided by TR-069 to configure, diagnose, and monitor the device state and services.
CWMP
CWMP specifies the general management protocol requirements for any TR-069 Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) . TR-069 is used to establish communication between the client CPE and the remote Auto-Configuration Server (ACS). TR-098 and TR-111 provide the data models for Internet Gateway devices within the TR-069 management protocol.
